The private stock company Sauliaus Transporto Sistemos was founded  in  1989. On March 16, 2003 it celebrated 13 years of operation.

     History of the company’s foundation:

• 1989 – road haulage cooperative society BT-2.
• 1991 - Saulius Stankevicius personal transport and trade company.
• 1997 - Saulius Stankevicius personal  company re-registered and split into two companies: UAB Sauliaus Transporto Sistemos and UAB Neringos Kelias. The company  UAB Sauliaus Transporto Sistemos has a licence for cargo transportation and is engaged in road haulage, whereas the company UAB Neringos Kelias was founded for management and guarding of the assets.

     Transport fleet of the company:

The transport fleet of UAB Sauliaus Transporto Sistemos consists of 40 trucks (MAN, SCANIA) and 45 tarpaulin trailers of 13.6 m length; trailer capacity: from  85 to 100 m3.  Most of the trucks and trailers are made in 1997-2003, so they belong to the 'green and greener" vehicle group. Safety of cargo transported by us is assured by CMR insurance. All our drivers have mobile phones, so the client can get exact information about the location of his cargo any time.

     The staff:

The company employs 48 people, the office staff consists of one manager and three disponents. The accounting is effected by three accountants. Repairs of the trucks are carried out by a team of 8 mechanics.

The company focuses its attention on the quality of services. We carry out regular monitoring, control the quality of drivers' work and we can declare that:

At present UAB Sauliaus Transporto Sistemos  is the leader among haulage companies engaged in transportations to/from Scandinavia.
